What is Radiesse®?

Radiesse® is a versatile FDA-approved dermal filler that triggers collagen regeneration to plump lackluster skin and smooth away imperfections. It is a biocompatible compound that helps combat the signs of aging without downtime or discomfort. For some patients, changes with Radiesse® can last up to two years.

Radiesse® is formulated with microspheres of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) suspended in a gel. When injected, the microspheres tell the body to produce more collagen, a vital protein found in youthful complexions that leads to firm, supple, radiant skin.

What can I expect after Radiesse®?

After your Radiesse® injections in Pheonix, Tempe, or Glendale, patients can typically resume their normal schedules right away, avoiding exercise for the first 24 hours. Minor swelling, redness, or soreness may occur at the injection sites, but these side effects are not typically significant enough to interfere with an immediate return to work, school, or other activities. Patients can take Tylenol to mitigate any lingering discomfort. Improvements can be seen right away with Radiesse® but changes will continue to evolve over time as collagen production is optimized. Radiesse® results typically last from 18-24 months.

The Pro-Nox pain management system allows patients to enjoy the results of their aesthetic procedures without having to deal with undue anxiety and stress around needles. Pro-Nox allows patients to self-deliver Nitrous Oxide (N2O) through a mouthpiece during their session, easing any discomfort or trepidation. N2O is a naturally occurring gas with anesthetic properties. It does not cause side effects and is quickly flushed from the body, making it a superior choice to oral pain medications for patients who wish to quickly resume their normal activities after their sessions.
