Our Kybella® in Phoenix, Tempe, and Glendale is recommended for patients over 18 years old who are struggling with submental fullness that has not been relieved through dieting and exercise. Kybella® is not a good match for those with moderate to severe skin laxity or platysmal neck bands. What are the most common side effects?

It is common for patients to experience mild swelling in the treated area after Kybella® injections. Swelling will peak in the first few days and then gradually subside. As the injections are repeated, swelling will be less and less with each visit. Minor soreness and temporary numbness may also occur, lasting up to several weeks.
