What is Juvederm®?

The Juvederm® collection of fillers is designed to restore vitality and youthfulness by smoothing away lines, creases, and wrinkles and replenishing volume lost to the aging process. Juvederm® is made with a synthetic form of hyaluronic acid and works by enhancing hydration and suppleness for a more radiant complexion.

What is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is naturally present in the human body. HA is the key molecule involved in skin moisture. It has the ability to retain or hold water. In our bodies, HA acts as a cushion. It is found in the skin, joints, and connective tissue. There are little to no side effects with Juvederm fillers due to HA’s natural presence in the body.

What are the different Juvederm® formulations?

Ultra

Ultra can help patients to achieve enhanced lip volume and a more youthful-looking smile. The product can also help to reduce perioral lines (smoker's lines). Outcomes can last up to a full year, and patients can undergo additional treatments as needed.

Ultra Plus

Ultra Plus is a thicker compound that is delivered deep into the dermis, and it can achieve more dramatic results in terms of fullness and lift than Ultra. It is useful for correcting vertical lip lines as well as creases and wrinkles elsewhere in the face.

Volbella

Volbella was created to address age-related volume loss in the lips. It can help the lips to retain more moisture, making them appear plumper and more youthful. Changes can last up to 12 months, and the formula comes with a built-in anesthetic for ultimate comfort.

Voluma

Voluma is engineered to restore fullness, definition, and vitality in the midface and cheeks. Many patients report looking up to five years younger after their injections. Results can typically be sustained for up to two years.

Vollure

How much does Juvederm® cost?

One syringe of Juvederm® costs around $350-800. Each patient will require a different number of units to achieve their unique aesthetic goals. We will provide a personalized quote at the time of your private consultation.

Is there any downtime or recovery for Juvederm®?

Downtime after Juvederm® injections is minimal, and patients can typically resume normal activities right away. Strenuous exercise, consuming alcohol, makeup use, and exposure to UV rays should be avoided for the first 24 hours after treatment.

When will I see my results?

Improvements with Juvederm® can be seen right away, and changes will continue to evolve as the skin is nourished by hyaluronic acid. Results with Juvederm® usually last 6-24 months, depending on the formulation.
