Am I a candidate for Morpheus8?

Because Morpheus8 Burst utilizes RF rather than laser technology, almost everyone is a candidate who wishes to maintain a youthful look by reducing the signs of aging. Individuals with a pacemaker, internal defibrillator, or another electronic implant anywhere in the body are not candidates for Morpheus8 Burst. Women who are pregnant or nursing cannot receive Morpheus8 treatments. Any additional or potential contraindications to Morpheus8 can be discussed at your initial consultation.

What can I expect after a Morpheus8 procedure?

Following a procedure for Morpheus8 in Phoenix most patients can anticipate being back to normal activities within 24-48 hours. Minor swelling, redness, and soreness in the treatment area is not uncommon but should not interfere with your daily routine. Some patients may experience temporary bruising. 

Tiny scabs may also appear on the treatment area, which should not be scratched. Itching at the site of the treatment can start immediately or several days to weeks following a Morpheus8® procedure as the tissue continues to heal and repair itself.  It is important not to scratch the area but use an anti-itch regimen recommended by our provider. 

Skin sensitivity and dryness can be expected for 1-2 weeks following the treatment. It is important to use a daily moisturizer and to apply sunscreen while outdoors to prevent damage to the healing skin.

Can Morpheus8 be used in combination with other treatments?

Yes, Morpheus8 can be used in the same treatment session, or a few days after other treatments. Great treatments to pair with Morpheus8 include Forma and PRP.

How many treatments will I need?

While results may be seen in as little as one treatment, optimal results can require a series of 3-5 treatments conducted over a period of several weeks. In cases where more than one treatment is needed, the procedures will be spaced 3-6 weeks apart. This will allow for complete tissue recovery.

How quickly will I see results?

Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically the most noticeable results appear after three weeks. Improvements continue for 3-6 months after treatment.

How long should I wait between treatments?
